Best Yoga Asanas for Weight Loss

Losing fat around your stomach (waist), reducing weight in the lower belly need some effort at your end. Every time when you put on a cloth you tend to look every bit of your body in various angles on the mirror and feel if I could just lose a little bit of that extra fat around my waist (stomach) or at the back and the lower belly.

Here are few steps for you to lose all that flab that is hanging around your waist and reduce weight by practicing the following postures.

Jalandhara bandha


Sit straight by keeping the back and the neck straight and inhale deeply. Hold your breath while keeping your chest high and lock the chin against your chest. Continue the posture as long as possible. After releasing the chin from the chest, look up and exhale. Do the same for three times.

Sarvangasana


Sarvangasana, is a position in which you will have to lie flat with arms by the side. In the same position, try to lift your legs in 90 degree. Then also lift your hip and support the back with your hands. When you are practicing the position, remember to breathe normally. Do not be in a hurry to come back, instead come back slowly.

Marjariasana variation


Marjari asana is one of the easy methods to lose weight. Sit on your knees and make sure that there is enough space between the knees. After sitting on your knees. Try to interlace your fingers behind your back, breathe slowly and slowly bend forward till your head touches the mat. Follow the movement by raising your hands. Relax. Hold the position for around 30 seconds and repeat.

Kandharasana


Lying on your back and your hands by your side, bend your legs and hold your ankles with both hands and be in the position for 30 seconds.
